Terms of Service

I understand that by completing this application that I am agreeing to seek assistance from the UniSQ Student Guild Advocacy Office. I agree that I will provide all documentation and information requested from me and I understand that if I do not provide such requested information that I may not receive the full benefit of the services of the Advocacy Office.

I understand that the UniSQ Student Guild endeavours to answer all submissions and emails within 2 business days and that it is my responsibility to check my email, including spam and junk folders for any response received from the UniSQ Student Guild.

I understand that while the UniSQ Student Guild Advocacy Office will provide me with guidance and recommendations as to the grievance I may have. I acknowledge that it is my responsibility to ensure that I meet all required UniSQ timelines and continue to progress any concerns that I may have through the appropriate systems. I understand and acknowledge that the Advocacy Office will not submit or prepare any documents or case on my behalf.

Privacy / Authority Statement

I hereby seek assistance from the UniSQ Student Guild Advocacy Office as my Student Support Officer (as defined in the University of Southern Queensland’s Policy and Procedure Library) in accordance with the University of Southern Queensland Policies and Procedures; namely Student Grievance Resolution Policy, Student Grievance Resolution Procedure, Student Appeals Procedure, and Student General Misconduct Procedure.

I further hereby authorise and permit the UniSQ Student Guild Advocacy Office to hold, send and receive, access and share (with the relevant involved parties) my personal and private information as a Student of the University of Southern Queensland in accordance with relevant UniSQ Student Guild Policy and Procedure, UniSQ Policy and Procedure, and State and Federal legislation.

This Authorisation shall be considered valid until such time that the matters I have sought assistance from the UniSQ Student Guild Advocacy Office from have concluded or until such time that I revoke my authority in writing.

Should I require the Advocacy Office to Act on my behalf, I understand that I will be required to complete an Authority to Act
